Welcome to the SICAMM Conference

Join us in celebrating the 30th anniversary of the SICAMM conference series, dedicated to conserving and promoting the dark European honey bee, Apis mellifera mellifera. From March 27–30, 2025, this milestone event will be hosted in the historic city of Stavanger, Norway.

This year’s program includes expert presentations on bee breeding, conservation strategies, and honey bee science incl. genetics and ecology, alongside opportunities to network with researchers, beekeepers, policymakers, and conservationists. Special anniversary awards will recognise outstanding presentation and work in research and photography. A full-day excursion will showcase Stavanger’s stunning natural landscapes.
